As part of the Hopps project , I conceived and designed the organizational structure as well as all app screens. Hopps is developed by Open Project eV and funded by the German Foundation for Civic Engagement and Volunteering. My role included, among other things, building the navigation and information architecture, defining the main user flows, and creating the screen designs.
Within a collaboration between the Master's program in Public Design and the BVG (Berlin Transport Authority) , we addressed the topic of safety and resilience in the Berlin underground .
My focus was on how safety is perceived on the subway and why existing emergency call and safety systems are often not used in critical situations. In addition to my own desk research and interviews, I conducted extensive research directly on the subways. Based on my research, I have already developed initial recommendations for action; the project will continue next semester.
A personal project: In many volunteer organizations, managing medications presents a significant challenge – especially because frequently changing volunteers rely on an intuitive and straightforward solution . To better understand this problem and develop a suitable solution, I developed a concept for a digital organizational application and created a low-fidelity prototype in Figma.
My illustrations can be used for flyers, magazines, and much more. I create them digitally or traditionally. They integrate seamlessly into the project's style and creatively showcase the content. Especially in times when AI is handling many visual tasks, a personal illustration can stand out more than ever before and help convey emotional messages.
